We’re leaving soon, so I wanted to use up the pre-grated parmesan sitting in the fridge and our rosemary bush. I tweaked mom’s scone recipe. You couldn’t taste the parm (generally can’t with the Kraft stuff), but it certainly made them salty. The rosemary was quite nice though.
Mom's Scones Yield: 12 Sift: 200 g flour 2 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 25 g sugar Cut in: 80 g butter Make a well, pour in whisked: 110 g milk 1/2 egg Used the other half egg for wash 400° for 10 minutes *Make sure the dough's dry enough, still tweaking with high humidity
